Chief HR Officer
Masha Vis-Mertens was previously Chief Human Resources Officer at Barry Callebaut, the global leader in cocoa and chocolate manufacturing, based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Prior to that, she worked during 10 years in various leadership roles at Barry Callebaut, including supply chain and operations, commercial and HR, always driving sustainable growth and efficiencies whilst building high performing teams. Masha started her career at Cargill, where she fulfilled a variety of end-to-end supply chain roles.
Masha brings a multi-cultural background and perspective. She lived and studied in the Netherlands, Russia, Bangladesh and Belgium and worked internationally throughout her career in France, The Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland. She is fluent in Dutch, French and English and also speaks German.
Masha Vis-Mertens holds the Dutch nationality.
